Gallerie Campus  has been started by Rana Banerjee. Rana started his career in Tea and went on to start his own company called M/s Jagadish & Associates Impex.P.Ltd. The core activity of this company is International Trading of Tea, Jute and silk products. He went on to start Banners and dedicated this firm to produce and export hand carved accessories for the string musical instruments used for the Stradivarius, Amati, Guarneri and Ruggerie violins all over the world.

Rana’s new endeavour in arts was a natural extension of his interest in fine arts propelled by the influence of his painter father Sri Provash Chandra Banerjee, an octogenarian painter from the old Bengal School, a disciple of Abanindranath Tagore, Bireswar Sen and Atul Bose. Gallerie Campus was formed in 2006 and will be exhibiting Sri Provash Chandra’s paintings and plans to highlight the work of the relatively unknown young artists of Bengal.
